ASRC Aerospace Wins Florida Space Business Award 04/01/2006 ASRC Aerospace was awarded the 2006 Florida Space Business Award by Lt. Governor Toni Jennings, chair of the Florida Space Authority Board of Supervisors, at the Space Day ceremony held March 16, 2006, at the capitol. ASRC Aerospace is the prime contractor for the University-Affiliated Spaceport Technology Development Contract (USTDC) to design ground support equipment and develop new technologies for NASA's new Exploration Program. "ASRC Aerospace demonstrates leadership in innovative approaches to developing breakthrough technologies for space exploration," said Lt. Gov. Jennings.
